Public Water Filling Counter

A bustling commercial hub near Taj Mahal Hotel and Canara Jewelers, where thousands pass by daily and rely heavily on bottled water.

Project Objective

To provide free access to clean, safe, and eco-friendly drinking water for the general public, while actively reducing the use of single-use plastic bottles.

This impactful project was driven by the vision of Mr. [Name] and Dr. Ramakrishna Achar, who aimed to ensure accessible, hygienic, and temperature-controlled drinking water (cold/plain/hot) at no cost.

SKF Elixer provided the complete filling counter system, engineered for public use, easy maintenance, and hygienic delivery of purified drinking water.

The project promotes sustainability by directly addressing the excessive use of plastic water bottles.

Environmental & Social Impact:

The feedback received from the general public, autorickshaw drivers, shopkeepers are very positive, according to them they have been saving around Rs.600/- per month. There are around 50 auto rickshaws in the stand ,they are saving Rs.3,60,000/- per annum & reducing 18,000 numbers of plastic bottles per Annum, similarly 1,80,000 plastic bottles are saved from general public, shop keepers, labors (500 liters per day I,e 500 bottles x 30 days x 12 months =1,80,000 bottles)

Conclusion

This case is a model example of how SKF Elixer’s water purification technology can make cities cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable. If the concept of filling counters are introduced in crowded areas across all cities and villages, citizens can actually control or reduce the usage of plastic bottles & save the environment.
