Every real estate complex, hotel, resort, institution or industrial setup releases any amount of wastewater that could have easily been filtered and reused for daily water applications such as: gardening, flushing, cooling, floor cleaning and other daily or industrial purposes that do not demand fresh water.
But in most cases, the used water goes straight into the drain. Most people know treated water can be reused. But they avoid doing it because the treatment systems they’ve seen are complex, expensive, or simply too unreliable to bother with.
STP Vulcan offers the plug-and-play stainless-steel system that costs far less than any other conventional plant. It lets you reuse what you already own and cut off the costs you didn’t even realise were spending you every month.
It’s already being used in apartment complexes, hotels, hostels, hospitals, commercial buildings, and small industrial units. These are places where water bills add up fast, where tanker water is a constant expense, and where compliance isn’t optional anymore.
Whether it’s 5 KLD or 100 KLD, Vulcan fits right in. It doesn’t need special construction or extra land. You don’t have to redesign your layout or pour new RCC tanks. It’s just delivered, placed, and started.
And because it’s compact and stainless steel, it can sit in a basement, a corner, or even on a rooftop without worrying about corrosion, leakage, or cracking.
The biggest advantage of STP Vulcan lies in the way it treats sewage — quietly, efficiently, and without demanding attention. It uses AABR technology, which doesn’t rely on moving parts, high-pressure aeration, or daily sludge handling. Instead, it uses specially designed media where bacteria grow, stay, and do their job without disturbance. Once the system is on, there’s little to no need for adjustment.
Here’s what this means in practice:
Stable output quality — consistent, reusable treated water every day
The treatment process starts at the bar screen chamber, where floating solids and debris are filtered out. From there, the sewage enters the oil and grease trap. This step removes floating oils and fats, which reduces the load on the biological system downstream.
The next stop is the equalisation tank. Here, incoming sewage is collected and homogenised balancing both flow and pollutant levels, so the treatment that follows is smooth and stable.
From the equalisation tank, sewage flows into the AABR chamber. This is the core of the system. Inside, bacteria grow on synthetic fiber media and begin breaking down organics — reducing BOD, COD, and nutrients like nitrogen and phosphorus without needing constant aeration or moving equipment.
The water then moves into the secondary settling tank, where solids separate from the treated water. The separated sludge gets concentrated and is easy to remove when needed.
The clarified water is collected in a separate tank and then passed through a multi-grade filter (MGF), where any fine suspended solids are removed. After that, it enters the polishing filter to take care of any remaining organic matter.
Finally, the treated water flows through a hypochlorite dosing system. This step disinfects the water making it safe, clear, and ready for reuse.
At the end of the process, you don’t just have treated water. You have clean, reusable water that can go back into your garden, your flushing systems, or your cooling towers — without touching your fresh water supply.
